The CSMA Club Big Weekend is back and it’s bigger, faster and louder than ever! There is a dazzling array of amazing activities to enjoy from only £6 per person for a Saturday Day Ticket, or £34 for a family weekend ticket. Witness thirty 6 ton, supercharged diesel trucks pushing past each other in the bid to win the Delphi British Truck Racing Championship 2011. Or, experience the mini se7en and classic touring car championships, the best of touring car racing from 1974 to 1993.

CSMA Club Jazz & Ale Tent

This exclusive venue for CSMA Club members returns with a fine selection of ales, ciders and wines, while listening to a range of jazz DJs and excellent live music on the Saturday evening. Plus there is an exclusive Q&A session with Big Weekend drivers!

Family entertainment

Experience a range of family entertainment for the whole family FREE for members. A two day festival of fun for all the family, featuring live music, interactive workshops, funfair and lots more.

Classic Vehicle Rally

The Cotswold Motoring Museum and the CSMA Club Classic Vehicle Group are hosting a mouth watering display of classic vehicles ranging from pre-war to post-war classics and modern rally vehicles. Meet the drivers, become a friend of the museum and find out what classic vehicle activities are taking place near you. For displaying your vehicle we will provide you with: Complimentary weekend tickets to the event for both yourself and a passenger, free access to the CSMA Club members area with exclusive viewing platforms subsidised bar and private toilets and 24 hour security to ensure the safety of all display vehicles.

Camping & Camping rally

Make a weekend of it and stay close to the action with the onsite Camping & Caravanning rally. You can stay for four nights, checking in from 1pm on Thursday 11^th August and leaving by 1pm on Monday 15^th August. Pitches cost just £10per unit per night. Make a weekend of it

Treat yourself to a break with the CSMA Club Social Group at Holiday Inn Salisbury-Stonehenge for two nights on Friday 12^th August and Saturday 13^th August.The hotel is situated 6 miles from the Big Weekend venue and also ideally situated for trips to Stonehenge and picturesque Wiltshire.

Delphi British Truck Racing Championships 2011

Ever wondered what happens when you race 30 supercharged diesel trucks against each other? Expect bumps, scrapes and smoke as thirty 6 ton, supercharged diesel trucks push past each other in a bid to win the 2011 Delphi British Truck Racing Championship. Travelling at speeds of 100mph (faster than a Porsche 911) round 9 of the championships is due to be an exhilarating, must see event. Due to the sheer size and weight of these speedy six-wheelers truck racing is one of the closest forms of racing there is. With some increasingly serious opposition taking to the grid with machinery from Mercedes-Benz, Renault and Foden, plus a field of up to 30 starters there’s no shortage of action! Catch the action as it happens and join the Big Weekend for round 9 of the Championships following the opening rounds at Brands Hatch, Donington and Pembrey.

Mini Se7en Championships

For those of you who prefer their racing a little lower to the ground, the Big Weekend will also be hosting the be hosting the mini se7en championships. Boasting huge grids of race cars, Mini Se7en Racing is always a favourite for race commentators and spectators alike. The Mini Se7en's offer challenging page and performance, guaranteed to give you a large amount of overtaking. Catch round 9 at the Big Weekend!

Classic Touring Car Championships

A weekend highlight and one of the golden eras of touring cars is set to return to the Big Weekend, bringing back the very best of touring car racing from 1974 – 1993. Watch your favourite cars battling for supremacy around the track, from classic touring cars and post historic touring cars to pre 93 and group touring cars. Thruxton hosts round 6 of the championships as the battle for contention gears up following opening rounds at Oulton Park, Brands Hatch & Pembrey.  

Drivers paddock

Admission also includes access to the driver’s paddock where you can see the teams preparing their vehicles. This is a great chance to get up and close with the cars, meet the drivers and see what happens behind the scenes at a racing championship finale!

Karting Sessions

Having seen the gripping action on track and think you might be able to do better? CSMA Club will be running FREE 15 minute sessions exclusive to CSMA Club members (public price £16) on both the cadet and adult tracks. Test your karting skills at Thruxton’s 1,100m outdoor track and drive the 13bph Thunderkarts up to speeds of 60 mph! So why not sign up on the day and book in a time slot? You can also meet the CSMA Club Karting Group and see if you can better their fastest lap time.

4x4 Sessions

Discover off-road driving in our FREE, 4x4 sessions for CSMA Club members. Thruxton 4x4 instructors will drive you over the rugged dips and hills and give you a taste for driving off-road. So why not sign up on the day and book a time slot? If you own a 4x4,  come and meet the CSMA Club 4x4 Group and see if there are any activities taking place near you!
