Getting there

By road

Goodwood is located just outside Chichester, only 60 miles from London, 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.

From London

Follow the A3 (Junction 10 on the M25) south towards Guildford. About 3 miles past Guildford, at the Milford turning, take the A283 to Petworth, then the A285 to Chichester for about 6 miles.

Just beyond Upwaltham, turn right at the brown Goodwood sign. At the next Junction turn left, following the brown sign to the hotel. The hotel entrance is a further 2 miles along on the right.

From the East

Follow the A27 towards Chichester. At the Tangmere roundabout before Chichester, turn right following signs for Boxgrove & Halnaker.

Go through the village and straight over at the crossroads, (there is a flint wall on your right). Continue on this road for about half a mile, turn left at the T junction and the hotel entrance is a few yards on the right. 

From the West

Follow the A27 to Chichester. At Chichester, stay on the A27 By-Pass/Ring Road. After the only set of traffic lights, take the second exit at the next roundabout signposted Goodwood. At the next roundabout take the second exit.

200 yards after the Goodwood Motor Circuit & Aerodrome entrance, turn right at the roundabout, signposted Petworth & Halnaker (brown signs for The Goodwood Park Hotel). Turn left at the next crossroads and the hotel is 150 yards on the left.

By rail

There is a regular service from London Victoria to Chichester (1hour, 40 minutes), plus the coastal service from Brighton and Portsmouth. Buses or taxis are available at Chichester Station.

FAQs

1. Do I need to bring my membership card? It is advised all members carry their CSMA Club Card on the day and bring their booking confirmation

2. Will lanyards be provided? CSMA Club identification (lanyards) will be available to members to pick up when they arrive at the CSMA Club members area. The identification will be required to gain access to the CSMA Club area.

3. Is my ticket valid on a specific date, or for one day if the event runs through multiple dates? The ticket will only be available for the requested day.

4. Are pets allowed at the event? All pets are prohibited from entering the site. Guide dogs are permitted onsite

5. Can I access all areas of the event, or just the CSMA Club area(s)? Members can access all the public areas of the event and the CSMA Club Exclusive members marquee

6. Can I also buy Grandstand seats through CSMA Club? Yes, see ticket matrix

7. Help! My tickets haven’t arrived! When members book their tickets they will receive a letter within 3 weeks confirming their ticket order. (If ordering online they will receive this letter and a confirmation email) The confirmation letter will confirm their booking details and expected ticket delivery date.

8. Are Picnics and BBQ’s allowed at the event? The venue will allow the public to bring picnics and packed lunches inside the event fence. CSMA Club members can drop off their picnic baskets at the members area.
