Cover Options
Britannia Rescue offers different levels of cover so that you can choose the level of breakdown cover to suit you.
Standard Cover
Designed for drivers who want a road rescue service that begins half a mile from home and offers recovery throughout the UK. If we can't solve the problem at the roadside, we'll take you, your vehicle and up to 7 passengers to a UK destination of your choice.
Comprehensive Cover
Designed for drivers who want a road rescue service that includes cover at home and offers recovery throughout the UK. The inclusion of 'Housecall'* means that we'll also assist with irritating non-starting problems like flat batteries or damp engines, which can happen at home or within half a mile of home.
Deluxe Cover
Designed for drivers who want a road rescue service that includes cover at home and offers recovery throughout the UK which also provides overnight hotel accommodation or a replacement car for up to 48 hours.** Cover on permanent named vehicles is also extended to include travel in Europe. Great if you drive abroad on holiday, or need onward travel while you're in the UK. With Deluxe you have peace of mind wherever you travel.
Personal Cover
You can extend your cover to include any vehicle you or your partner drive or travel in, within the UK. It's great if you have more than one vehicle, or sometimes drive other people's cars. We'll also provide an extra membership card for your partner.
*Housecall is not intended as a home maintenance service and we would not expect to attend to recurring faults.
**Replacement car hire is subject to the conditions of the car hire company. See the policy document for more information. The minimum age of the driver must be 21 years.

I wish to thank CSMA Club for the significant savings I now enjoy. There is no compromise on service quality as I discovered recently. After 45 years of driving I experienced my first breakdown. Britannia Rescue responded by getting support to me within 12 minutes and they transported me home because the failed ignition system could not be fixed at the roadside. After a full service I was in the embarrassing position of having to call Britannia Rescue out again because my car had stopped due to a failed alternator. They responded within 21 minutes, which was very good considering my location. Hopefully my car is back to its reliable state, but it is reassuring to know Britannia Rescue’s excellent service is a telephone call away.

We recently had our annual holiday in South Wales. Regrettably our car broke down and we had to call upon the services of Britannia Rescue. We were dealt with very promptly and courteously and immediately had a telephone call from the garage. We were in a very rural area and the garage had to come 30 miles to transport us to Cardigan. The garage diagnosed the fault, ordered a part and repaired the car so we could resume our holiday. Throughout the whole period we had calls from Britannia Rescue to check that we were alright and were happy with the service received. Well done Britannia Rescue and the garage in Cardigan.

I just wanted to make it known what a fantastic service I received yesterday when unfortunately, my vehicle had a blow-out tyre on the M1 Motorway. It was my first experience using the Britannia Rescue service and I was extremely delighted in the way they provided assistance. I was travelling north on the M1 having just passed the Leicester Forest Services, when my tyre blew causing me to pull over. It was 7.10am, dark and very cold, with the normal heavy morning traffic. Having safely stopped I then made the necessary call and from that moment – everything was dealt with promptly and professionally. The call centre kept in touch, making sure I was ok and advising me on the ETA of the recovery vehicle. When it arrived, again the service was excellent, right the way through from getting off the motorway to my tyre being replaced and back on my journey. Whilst not wishing or expecting to use the service again in a hurry, I would like to endorse this to any CSMA Club members as money well invested. My thanks to Britannia Rescue!
