Green Car

LV= Frizzell offers three levels of cover, plus some optional extras that can be added to your policy.

Comprehensive car insurance

Comprehensive car insurance covers accidental damage caused to your car as well as damage and/or injury you cause another vehicle or its driver in an accident. It also covers your car if it is damaged by fire or stolen and not recovered.

Third Party Fire and Theft car insurance

Covers damage or injury you cause to another vehicle and/or its driver. It also covers loss of or damage to your car through fire or theft. It doesn't cover your own vehicle if it's damaged in an accident.

Third Party only car insurance

Covers damage or injury you cause to another vehicle and/or its driver. It doesn't cover damage to, or loss of your vehicle.

Can LV= Frizzell Insure You?

To get a car insurance quote, you will need to make sure you meet the following conditions.

The car you wish to insure:

  • was manufactured for the UK market e.g. not an import
  • is registered and normally kept in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands
  • will not be used abroad for more than 180 days in a row

About the drivers:

  • all drivers are legally entitled to drive
  • all drivers are aged 17 and above
  • you are a resident of mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands

Do I get a discount on my car insurance as a CSMA Club member?

Yes, CSMA Club members can save up to 10% on normal LV= Frizzell car insurance prices when calling for a quote

I have completed an online car insurance quote but would prefer to pay over the phone, can I still get the online discount?

Yes, if you get a car insurance quote online but would prefer to pay for your policy over the phone, you can still get the online discount as long as you make no further changes to your quote.

How do I make a claim on my car insurance?

If I have a claim for windscreen damage, does it affect my No Claim Discount?

No, windscreen claims will not affect your car insurance No Claim Discount.

Do I have to pay the excess towards a Third Party claim?

No, you only need to pay the excess towards your own repairs.

We have car insurance through Approved Partner LV=Frizzell, which was one of the best deals on offer at the time. On the 2nd January 2012 our Ford Focus caught fire whilst on our drive due to a possible electrical fault. The car was a write off.
