Every SEA LIFE centre features more than 30 spectacular displays housing an amazing array of both freshwater and sea creatures.

Daily talks and feeding demonstrations unravel many mysteries of the deep; and SEA LIFE’s influential environment programme SOS provides every visitor with an opportunity to lend their personal support to important conservation missions.

Birmingham: New for 2012 Claws!

The crabs and their many clawed cousins are like marvellous machines, the armoured division of the marine world. Here in superbly-lit displays, you’ll be able to see the wonderful construction of these powerful predators. Find out the facts and enjoy the fun. Claws will really grab you!

Blackpool: New for 2012 Claws!

Everything turns turtle in our amazing Turtle Shelter for creatures with a 200 million year history. Turtle Shelter houses weird and wondrous freshwater turtles and even some of their tanks are turtle-shaped. Marvel at their strange looks and bizarre lifestyles, learn about conservation efforts for both freshwater and sea turtles and how you can get involved to help our shelled friends in their fight for survival.

Bray: New for 2012 Ray Discovery!

Come face to face with our newest residents, the Cownose Rays from the Eagle Ray family. These amazing and fascinating creatures use their wings to stir up the bottom to find potential prey buried under the sand.

Brighton: New for 2012 Jelly Disco!

Unlike most other marine creatures, and despite their stunning beauty and great variety, jellyfish are rarely given the attention they deserve. Now you can marvel at their infinite colors, graceful motion and ghost-like forms in a spellbinding spectacle that reveals their mysterious lives and world in a totally new light.

Great Yarmouth: New for 2012

SEA LIFE centres breed dozens of native European sharks such as lesser spotted nursehounds and bull huss every year. We have also successfully bred tropical Wobbegongs and Port Jackson sharks among others. Our new breeding facility aims to build on these successes and perfect techniques to breed many more shark species in the future, for example the Zebra Shark.

Hunstanton: New for 2012 Green Sea Turtle

Come face to face with our newest resident, a spectacular Green Sea Turtle. Watch one of the marine world’s most ancient and magical creatures in our tropical ocean tank.

Loch Lomond: New for 2012 Giant Pactifc Octopus

The Einstein of the oceans, the incredible Giant Pacific Octopus, takes centre stage at the Loch Lomond SEA LIFE Aquarium. Octopuses are renowned for their intelligence, and the Giant Pacific is the brainiest of them all able to solve simple puzzles and even negotiate complex mazes

Scarborough: New for 2012 Octopus Garden

The octopus has astounding physical and mental skills, and here you have the chance to test your own! In the bright, exciting and challenging Octopus Garden, nothing is necessarily what or where it seems to be. Can you find the Giant Pacific Octopus hiding in its lair?

Weymouth: New for 2012 Claws Rockpool Adventure

Be the first to experience our new feature for 2012. Will you dare hold a spider crab or climb the rockpool without getting wet?
